Features of Reynaers Slimline SL 38

Features of the Reynaers SL 38 Windows.

The Reynaers SL 38 Windows possess the standard features of high insulation, weather performance, and security credentials that are a trademark of many Reynaers products. Windora takes pride to offer one of the best products in the market.

Innovative thermal insulation techniques are utilized in conjunction with top-grade aluminum extrusions and glass units. By incorporating glass with a low-emissivity soft-coat, warm edge spacer bars, and argon gas filling, these windows exceed the insulation standards of Building Regulations with U-Values as low as 1.4Wm2K. The triple glazing option can reach a thickness of 55mm.

Each one of them boasts a three-chamber system that is well-insulated. You have the option to select either a classic variant with an outward opening casement or a Ferro or Cubic option with tilt and turn or turn and tilt capabilities.

The opening mechanisms used are top-notch locking systems from Europe, and the windows are certified by PAS24 and Secured by Design.

The performance of the weather in a modern aluminium window is comparable to other high-quality systems. These windows have the ability to achieve Class 4 airtightness (600Pa) and Class 9A water tightness (600Pa).

These windows not only boast excellent design and quality from the renowned Reynaers brand, but also come with top-notch specifications.

This evaluation examines the noteworthy qualities of Reynaers SlimLine 38 windows, which offer a great alternative for both new and replacement windows in the steel-look category.

The Reynaers SlimLine 38 is a highly advanced product.

Reynaers SlimLine 38 windows are meticulously designed and crafted, featuring sleek profiles and a variety of frame styles to choose from. These windows are not only aesthetically appealing, but also offer top-of-the-line performance and can be purchased fully glazed or with the sought-after steel appearance.

Understanding the Suite of Reynaers SlimLine 38 Windows

The selection of aluminium windows from Reynaers is extensive, providing a variety of options that complement their door collections. These windows vary in complexity, from basic casement windows suitable for most homes to the sophisticated Masterline 8 and CS77 models, ideal for projects with more intricate designs and specific requirements.

The SlimLine 38 windows from Reynaers are high-quality aluminium windows that offer a heritage window solution with an industrial, Crittall® style.

Reynaers SlimLine 38 Windows: The Stylish Steel-Look Designs

There are three possible variants available: Classic, Cubic, and Ferro. Each one is equipped with the most up-to-date thermal insulation and the choice of either double or triple glazing. These windows offer numerous immediate benefits.

Initially, their styling bears a resemblance to the W20, S30, and SMW profiles commonly found in steel windows. This can be seen in the projecting bar of the Ferro style, the putty line of the Classic, or the simpler appearance of the Cubic.

One of the impressive features of these windows is their ability to maintain a sleek and compact appearance, regardless of whether you opt for double or triple glazed options. These windows have been designed with a fixed light, which means that the frame dimension is only 33.5mm, but it can increase to approximately 56mm when you add an opening vent. As a result, the windows retain their slender and sophisticated proportions. While there may be slimmer windows available in the market, they do not come with the unique and distinctive styling of these windows.

One notable design aspect is the absence of drainage caps. In order to prevent water from entering the chambers, all aluminum windows require machined holes that drain the water to the exterior. However, many windows that adopt the face-drained technique use plastic caps that cover these crucial drainage holes. Unlike those, Reynaers SL 38 windows are cleverly designed without the need for drainage caps, resulting in a more streamlined appearance.

The Classic system features a conventional window design, with a weather bar-like section present at the bottom of each vent and outer frame. However, this does not take away from the modern appearance and sleek aluminum profiles.

The Reynaers window in the Cubic variant has a flatter appearance compared to the other two products. In our opinion, this is the most aesthetically pleasing option.

The optimal usage of bars in a window with an aluminium steel-look appearance

There are a variety of choices available for creating a grid-like design reminiscent of traditional metal windows in most aluminium steel-look windows.

At our store, you can discover flat bars that have been precisely cut to fit your needs and expertly installed on any steel-look window. The bar’s aesthetic may also be achieved by incorporating slender mullions and transoms into the design.

The windows are equipped with a fully extruded bar profile on both sides of the glass. The interior of the window features an appropriate aluminum section with raised edges. It is a more prominent and well-engineered design compared to the basic stick-on flat bar design.

Two separate aluminium extrusions, replicating the Ferro and Classic designs, are used for the grid pattern outside the glass, matching the style of the three window versions. This is a notable improvement compared to other systems that use flat bar offerings, as these extrusions have a more aesthetically pleasing 30mm sightline.

There are two transom choices that complement the framing system. One has a flat design while the other matches the sightlines of the Classic. This is a well-considered feature that is consistent with Reynaers’ design excellence. As a result, your bars will have a similar appearance as the frame styling options depicted above.
